Working at SERI: Joël Boschung

What are your tasks?

For the last six months of my apprenticeship at SERI, I have been working in the Finance and Controlling unit, where I am responsible for various invoices, which I allocate to the correct positions and approve. I also enter payments in the SAP system. In addition, I enter the postal account statement with the income received by SERI in the SAP system every day. Occasionally, I also perform smaller tasks such as checking numbers.

What do you particularly like about your work?

I particularly like the fact that I get an insight into the various financial processes, which allows me to track SERI’s payments. I also appreciate working with my team. During my apprenticeship at SERI, I particularly enjoyed being able to work in different areas and gain insights into the various fields of activity at SERI.

What challenges lie ahead in the near future?

The next challenge are the upcoming final exams. I have an oral exam in May, followed by the remaining exams in June. My goal, of course, is to pass my exams with good grades and to celebrate the successful completion of my apprenticeship.
