Working at SERI: Ramona Kunz
Gain insight into the work of SERI: Ramona Kunz is a project manager in the Professional Education Unit.

What do you do exactly?
I work as a project manager in the Professional Education Unit. I supervise around 50 federal examinations (for both the Federal and Advanced Federal Diploma) as well as three study programmes at professional education institutions. I am the main contact person for professional organisations and examination committees and provide guidance on examination rules. At the same time, I am part of the explosives certification team. This team conducts examinations and issues the permits required in order to work in this field in Switzerland.
What do you like about your work in particular?
No two days are the same: the variety of requests that we receive from our partners keeps things interesting – from legal clarifications to discussions with examiners. I find supervising examinations on-site to be particularly fascinating, as it gives me an insight into the various professions – where theory meets practice!
What challenges do you expect in the near future?
Switching from administrative work to project management presents many new challenges. I am still learning the ropes, but I am looking forward to gradually gaining more confidence and experience in my new role.
